The WCA Home had our 6th annual Resident/Family “picnic” on August 17th at Shorewood Country Club.  The event is funded by the proceeds of our annual porch sale held during Fredonia’s Attic and Seller days.  This year we had our most successful porch sale ever and we were able to host a truly special event for our residents and their families!

The residents had a very interesting visit from Ann Wolley.  She came dressed in civil war clothes and talked about some Civil War History.  Thank you for sharing your time and talents with us, Ann!

The residents and staff of The WCA Home want to thank Robin Roof for coming to perform for us!  He is very talented and inspirational.  We all enjoyed the performance.

This summer hasn’t been the warmest or the driest but it has been perfect weather for our flowers.  Thank you to Aaron Smith for all your hard work with the beautiful landscaping  We couldn’t be more proud of our beautiful home!

We were so proud to host some friends from St. Columbans on the Lake!  They entertained us with some beautiful songs and we gave them coffee and treats in return.  What a fun group of people and they have beautiful singing voices!  We hope our treats were enough to get them to come back again soon.
